National Trademark

A national trademark is protected within one country. The trademark office of that country is responsible for examining its registrability. Representation abroad is handled by local attorneys – we have a well-established network of specialists with decades of experience. When protection in multiple countries is desired, careful consideration must be given to whether multiple national trademarks, an international trademark, or an EU trademark is most appropriate, taking not only cost but other factors into account.
